Eligibility
Eligible persons must meet the
criteria for chronic homelessness as defined by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD):
The individual has either been
continuously homeless for one year or more or has had at least four (4) episodes of homelessness in the past three (3) years. The individual must have been sleeping on the streets or other places not meant for human habitation (i.e., abandoned buildings, cars, parks) or in an emergency shelter (not transitional housing) during these episodes.
For assistance with rent, eligible clients must qualify for the
Housing Choice Voucher Program administered by the
