On the Job Experience Program (OJE)
HACAP Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) has a paid training opportunity that is available to the for-profit sector employers which is a great opportunity to get assistance with their training costs of a new employee!
The On The Job Experience (OJE) is a program that will provide training assignment for up to 40 hours a week for as many as 12 weeks to accommodate the gap between actual and needed skill levels. This program allows employer’s a way to assess these program participant’s skills, attitude, and experience to pave the way for them to get an opportunity to show what they can do.
The program can:
- Pay up to 100% reimbursement to the potential employer for up to 4 weeks
- Pay up to 50% reimbursement for over 4 weeks to a maximum of 12 weeks
- In lieu of reimbursement, pay 100% of participant’s wages earned while in training, not to exceed 12 weeks
